The Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine 2013 was awarded jointly "for their discoveries of machinery regulating vesicle traffic, a major transport system in our cells".

Martin Karplus (Harvard University and the University of Strasbourg in France), Michael Levitt (Stanford University School of Medicine) and Arieh Warshel (University of Southern California)

The Nobel Prize in Chemistry 2013 was awarded jointly "for the development of multiscale models for complex chemical systems".

Physics:

François Englert (Belgium) and Peter Higgs (UK)
