Oscar award is one of the most prestigious awards in the entertainment industry around the world. The Oscar Awards or Academy Awards are given annually by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. The first Oscar awards were given on 16th May 1929. Winners are chosen from 24 different categories in the entertainment industry. The design for the award statuette is credited to Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer (MGM) art director Cedric Gibbons. This year the 93rd Academy Awards ceremony honored the best films of 2020 and took place at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood in Los Angeles.
