SBI Junior Associates Bank Exams
State Bank of India recruits graduate candidates for
S.B.I junior Associate for Customer Support and Sales (C.S.S). The Bank
offers fast track growth opportunities wherein Junior Associates are
eligible for promotion in Officer Cadre on completion of 3 years' of
service. It is a different post from S.B.I Clerk as the Junior Associates
are needed to carry out marketing services such as loans, deposits, schemes
to customers.
Eligibility Criteria
Only Indian Citizens are eligible to apply for the
post.
Essential Academic Qualifications:
Graduation in any discipline from a recognised
University or any equivalent qualification recognised as such by the Central
Government. Candidates having integrated dual degree (IDD) certificate
should ensure that the date of passing the IDD is on or before the date of
eligibility stipulated by the Bank.
Age Limit:
Candidate age should not below 20 years and not above 28 years as on stipulated date. For SC/ST candidate there is an age relaxation of 5 years. For OBC (Other Backward Classes) it is 3 years.
Selection Procedure
The selection process consists of on-line test
(preliminary and main examination) and test of specified opted local
language.
Preliminary
Examination
Preliminary Examination consisting of 100 Objective
questions of 1 marks each. The exam conducted online on selected exam
centres across India. This test is of 1 hour duration consisting of 3
Sections: English Language, Quantitative Aptitude and Reasoning Ability.
The number of candidates to be shortlisted from the
Preliminary Examination for the Main Examination will be 20 times (approx.)
the number of vacancies in each category.
Main Examination
Main Examination consists of Objective Tests for 200
marks and it is also conducted online.
The four sections are General/Financial Awareness, General English,
Quantitative Aptitude, and Reasoning Ability& Computer Aptitude. The exam is
of 2 Hours 40 minutes duration.
The candidates from amongst those who qualify are
invited in the ratio of maximum 3 candidates for each vacancy.
Those who pass 10th standard with official (local)
language are not be subjected to any Language test. In case of others,
language test are conducted at the time of interview /before final
selection.
Interview and final
selection
Candidates are required to score a minimum percentage
marks (to be decided by the bank) in interview to be considered for final
selection. 5% relaxation for SC/ST/ OBC/PWD/XS category will be available
thereon. Final selection will be made on the basis of candidate's
performance in the test and interview taken together.
How to apply
Candidates will be required to register themselves
online through Bank's website. After registration candidates are required to
pay the requisite application fee through online mode by using debit
card/credit card/Internet banking. Fee/Intimation charges once paid will not
be refunded.
